Smartdice is an electronic die that can wirelessly connect to your smartphone using Bluetooth 4.0. Dialog Semiconductor has produced a new Bluetooth 4.0 chipset that is twice as efficient as current standards, so your battery lasts twice as long. As a demo, we developed an app that connects to the SmartDice to play a casino game, based on roulette: bet on a number, roll the dice and win (or lose).
