HVC's new website is now live!
For the past several months, we have been working on the new website for HVC, the public utility that extracts raw materials and renewable energy from the waste of some half a million households. The new website marks the first, resounding result of a four-year partnership.
New HVC site is live
HVC believes in a future where energy is generated cleanly and raw materials are reused. To lead in this, it is transforming itself from a residual waste incinerator to a resource and sustainable energy company. But HVC cannot do this without the residents it serves. From a sharpened positioning, we developed an entirely new online environment that on the one hand helps users easily arrange their affairs and on the other hand helps HVC to inform, inspire and involve their audience in their shared mission.
Tessa Witte, online specialist at HVC: "Not so long ago, HVC made the transition from B2B company to a B2C organization that communicates directly with residents and energy customers. Online we had some successes to make there. We had tools but they were scattered across different websites. Also, our activities around waste and energy were not connected while they are strongly related! I am very pleased that in a relatively short time we have been able to establish a basis on which we can build.
Project leader Jeroen Schippers is also pleased with the first result. "At the beginning of such an intensive partnership, it always takes some getting used to each other. With this first project we therefore wanted to lay a solid foundation. Not only in technology and design, but especially in the way of working together according to the Scrum method. An important role in this was played by Tessa, who acted as product owner in the project team. With the mandate from her stakeholders, she was able to make quick decisions so that we could all keep the momentum going. All in all, this bodes well for our continued collaboration.
