Ho ho ho, we had a party!
Two weeks ago, Unc Inc came together to celebrate the end of a fantastic year! Leading up to the party, each employee was challenged to create an (IoT) Christmas decoration for our Christmas tree. Some examples were: 'Meme cookies', a Microbit electronic smiley, a lighted Christmas tree and paper angels. The winner was Dirk, one of our developers. He had made a 'Mr. (Io)T' decoration #TheATeam.
We started our holiday with a mini-hackathon. Divided into 4 teams, each team had to design and build the perfect 404 page. Each team was allowed to choose their own topic, but was limited to 3 hours to complete the task. Everyone had a lot of fun and the results were super creative. The winning team - voted on by the founders - consisted of Jeffrey, Harmen, Jeroen, Taliesyn and Robin.
After the excitement of the hackathon, we enjoyed a great Christmas dinner with the entire Unc Inc team and their partners. Our delicious meal was prepared in the office by a chef friend of Unc Inc. Looking back, we had a great evening together: great food and drinks and lots of fun! Now we are ready for the new year and all the exciting new challenges it brings.
