Border Sessions, the Future is Now

The Future is Now, it was clear during the Border Sessions. On November 12, 2014, the day Rosetta's lander Philae landed on comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, the Internet of Things is being shaped. Cities are providing their populations with smart information. In Delft, they are working on robotic buildings. While the rich Dot Com Kids are be- racing each other to the stars, we normal people will soon all be eating insects. And those were just a few of the topics discussed.

It was also the day Outernet.is launched its first Indiegogo campaign for Lantern, a little device that allows you to receive free data from space. Outernet can be received anywhere on Earth, right now already, by anyone. Expect an update as we order a Lantern or make one ourselves!

Last but not least; it was the day Q42 gave a fat demo of the Oculus Rift, and demonstrated how to throw a party ;) Thanks!
