Beakon: location-based relevance

We are busy working on a new project called Beakon.

Beakon is an app that provides relevant information based on where you currently are. By letting phones connect to each other, Beakon lets you see the people around you, based on the distance between them. Learn more information about the people around you, and connect with them via LinkedIn. Business cards become obsolete with this!
iBeacons placed in specific places (for example, at booths during an event) provide information about the environment you are in. Instead of looking for information, it is presented to you based on your distance.

We're moving fast! About a month ago we came up with the idea, and in two weeks we will present the beta version at A-Lab during Appril a festival about apps and mobile internet.
