Our Estimote iBeacons are in

Today we received our Estimote iBeacons. Inside an Estimote iBeacon is a Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) chip that sends around a 2.4 GHz signal that is roughly equivalent to the signal from a regular wi-fi connection. Something almost any modern smartphone today can pick up. Through the beacons, a signal can then be sent to the mobile devices depending on the distance one is standing, making it possible to offer content in the context of your location in the "real world.
