Book cover for Leonoor van der Beek

Author Leonoor van der Beek asked us to design the cover for her new book "From Calculator to Language Machine.
The book is a monograph on the history of language and speech technology. Using images of all kinds of objects related to these technologies, we created a collage-like language machine.
We were allowed to go all out to create a device that doesn't really exist, but looks like it can process translations at lightning speed. It worked, didn't it? ;)
