Bits of Freedom annual report 2015
As we do every year, we designed the annual report for Bits of Freedom, the foundation that advocates for digital bugs rights. To offer interested parties a quicker way to go through the entire report, we also developed an online summary, as we did last year. This online summary gives readers an overview of the main points of 2015.
To make the annual report as interesting as possible for the reader, each year we choose a particular style that suits the organization's goals. This year we chose to use the old propaganda style in a somewhat cynical way. Inspiration was taken from the way people used to call on each other through propaganda posters to fight for certain rights. Slogans such as "United We Stand" were often used to stand together in the past and thus we came up with the modern version: "Connected We Stand.
To put an extra spotlight on the volunteers this year, a poster was also made for Bits of Freedom on which the names of all the volunteers can be found. This can be found in the printed annual report and can also be downloaded.
