Accessibility

For us, being digitally connected for tomorrow’s world means a digital world that is accessible to everyone. At Unc Inc, we develop accessible platforms, apps, and websites for our clients every day. Because we believe that the end user is always right, we consider it a given that our own website meets these standards as well.

A website for everyone

We want everyone to be able to visit, understand, and use our website without barriers. Whether you have a visual, hearing, intellectual, or motor disability, are colorblind, have dyslexia, or use assistive technology such as a screen reader, the information on our website should be easily accessible to you.

Our Approach and Guidelines (WCAG)

As a digital agency, we are not a government agency. We therefore do not have formal registration or a legally required accessibility label (such as the Dutch government’s A–D status registry). Nevertheless, we hold ourselves to the highest standards.

For us, accessibility isn’t just an afterthought—it’s woven into our DNA and our work process: from strategy and UX design to development and content creation. For our own website, we strive to comply with the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (and 2.2 where possible) at Level AA.

There’s always room for improvement

As we say in our own approach: digital solutions are never finished. New technologies emerge at a rapid pace, and we learn from our end users’ experiences. That’s why we test our website and its underlying code for accessibility. If we encounter bottlenecks or technical barriers, we address them pragmatically as part of our ongoing optimizations.
