The Next Web conference 2016
Four stages, an endless list of great and inspiring speakers, interesting startup booths and sunshine. Do we need to say more! At the end of May, we were with the whole team to conference The Next Web. This two-day event is one of the biggest in Europe in terms of startups, investors and pioneers and makes the connection between innovation, technology and society.
It is a good combination between learning, networking and having fun with the whole team. It is very relevant to see how everyone is using different technologies, the opportunities in the industry and how all the startups are working on "the next big thing.
Everyone experienced the two days in their own way. "Boris, one of the co-founders joined us cozily on the beanbags. During the event it is possible to have a chat with everyone from speakers to startup founders. The Next Web wanted to keep the event accessible just like when it started a few years ago, I think they succeeded well in that." Says Zsolt, one of our visual designers.
The two days were incredibly inspiring, the wide range of speakers and workshops made it interesting for the whole team. Getting social, learning new things and having a beer in the sun has already got us excited for next year.
Josephine's opening was original and conveyed the message of the conference well: "We are building a future with and for our children. With technology, we can change the world. It is up to you, up to us, to make the best of it".
In addition, Kim, one of our interns won a hidden drone(s) that occasionally flies by in the office. Remember for next year: Good (and free) coffee at sponsor bars.
