New Refugee Council website flooded with help for Ukrainians
Early this year we launched the new website of VluchtelingenWerk Nederland. It is the first result of the new collaboration and came not a moment too soon. Indeed, the war in Ukraine makes an urgent appeal to the organization and everyone concerned with the fate of the hundreds of thousands of refugees.

Early this year we launched the new website of VluchtelingenWerk Nederland. It is the first result of this new collaboration and came not a moment too soon. Indeed, the war in Ukraine is making an urgent appeal to the organization and everyone concerned with the fate of the hundreds of thousands of refugees.
To maximize this help, the foundation launched the "Netherlands for Refugees" campaign in one week. In a quickly set up section on the new website, people can offer their help. As coordinator of this support, VluchtelingenWerk Nederland ensures that it reaches the people who need it most. Partly due to the attention of, among others, the NOS News and RTL News, we subsequently saw an enormous peak in the analytics: about half a million visitors of which more than 11,000 signed up as volunteers. In addition, donations through the website also showed a huge increase. It is great to see that the Dutch not only support our far eastern neighbors in word but also in deed.
